Chalcedony Violin

Exceptional sculpture representing a violin. Handmade work in chalcedony glass, a particular glass obtained thanks to the addition of silver salts and mineral oxides that create multifaceted chromatic effects. The sculpture is made freehand, in solid glass. Remarkable are the color effects that are created and that constantly change when the gaze is shifted. The work becomes dynamic, with different shades of blue, amber, up to light veins of red. The presented piece has exceptional blue shades, out of the ordinary. The sculpture is signed on the base by the Master Glassmaker.
